Wood Family Wines Thursday

Rhonda Wood is going to be pouring Wood Family Wines this Thursday at First Street Wine Company in downtown Livermore. Also, the weekend flights start on Friday at 5.

P.S. If you buy a bottle there and go to the Greek restaurant next door, Demitri’s Taverna, they will waive the corkage fee! I’m going to have to take a look and check out what pairs good with gyros! =D

Or you can get a designated driver and hit all the wineries anyway! We’ll see you out there! Cheers!

The Best Little Black Book of Wine

No matter where your wine tasting adventure takes you this Labor Day weekend, you should have the Little Black Book of Wine in your back pocket! It’s a quick light read and great reference book when debating the difference between a pinot gris and pinot grigio. It covers all the bases from types of wine produced to pairings with food. You’ll never know it all, but you will at least be able to identify the one’s who think they do!

Get out there, discover new wines and learn about the wine you love to experience! Cheers!
